The new music series from David Ward + Golden Future unites the best in soul for a night of back to back floor fillers. With a deep reverence for music, community and vibe, Propeller is an electric night in an intimate venue that hosts some of the most exciting musicians across North America. Born in the heart of Vancouver’s Gastown, Propeller lives at Guilt & Company, the underground nexus of the city’s soul scene. With Propeller in its third season, Ward + Golden Future have hosted and played with those at the vanguard of the new wave in jazz—Patrice Quinn (Kamasi Washington); legends of the world music and soul scene—JC Maillard (MD for Lisa Fischer) and Daru Jones (Jack White); and the fiercely funky proprietors of the new generation—Swatkins (Allen Stone).
